We are a small group, some irrigation customers, some not, that have banded together to combat the dysfunctional North Yuba Water District in the foothills of Yuba County that seems intent on serving itself rather than its customers.
During the elections campaign in the summer of 2020, Marieke Furnee named the group working on supporting "our" candidates, the Foothill Water Coalition. In late July, the Facebook Group Foothill Water Coalition was created. Then, in April 2020 our public relations person recomended forming a 410 organization. In mid June, papers were filed with Secretrary of State in Sacramento. Unfortunately, and incomplete address delayed the processing. Finally, in early July, the paperwork was complete and on June 23, 2021, the Secretary of State assigned a 410 Committee identifaction number. See the History
